Managed Servers - Windows

ITS's professional systems engineers provide Managed Windows Server platform services to application owners and service providers running Windows Server operating systems (OS) on devices in ITS's physical or virtual data centers.

This service exceeds the minimum-security configurations necessary for devices that create, access, store, or transmit high, moderate, and low risk Yale data. This offering meets the requirement for "Professionally managed by ITS or ITS-approved system admins." Please review the Minimum Security Standards document for more details about data classification at Yale.

The monthly support rate is

  • 24x7 support and response: $150
  • 9x5 support and response: $75

This offering includes updates, upgrades, maintenance, configuration management, monitoring, and snapshot recovery. Additionally, the team will act as an escalation point for Windows incident resolution and operating system (OS) consultation.
