Audio Visual Systems Design

AV Systems Design (AVSD) service is a team that facilitates the design and integration of audio visual systems on campus. Using our pool of vendors we solicit the best price, work ethic, and completed system for your project. This includes new systems and design changes to existing systems. The team provides consulting services that take the project from inception to completion. The team also acts as single point of contact between project resources, including external vendors and University Facilities.

Who can use it?

Any department on campus.

How much does it cost?

Budget Estimate

Once project approval is received, final pricing from AVSD specified third party AV integration vendor will be provided as necessary. Pricing will reflect all necessary infrastructure, additional equipment, installation, and fabrication needed to achieve the integration goals of the project. All prices estimated in the functional project scope reflect prices noted from similar work on other spaces. Each space has its own intricacies that may or may not affect final total for project.

Approval

All requesting parties are asked to please review the functional scope and estimate for the project. If this document meets the intended vision of the project, your approval is sought via email. If you would like further detail added to the scope, please contact us to add these revisions or details to the scope. Once approval is received, your AV consultant will work with you on the next steps. 

Funding

The requesting department funds the project with charging information provided prior to staring the project.

Project Execution

Changes to scope, timing, or cost will be documented by the consultant and approved by the consultant and the requesting parties. Those factors contribute to delivery time. Please note that projects require at least 6-8 weeks after approval for scheduling/installation/and fully operational system delivery.
