Desk Phones On Campus

This is a service which is jointly provided by Yale and the phone company. Included are telephone sets, telephone lines, special telephony devices (such as faxes and credit card readers), voicemail, Teleconferencing solutions and other telecommunications management and consulting services.

Features

Voicemail Retention Policy (Default):  When a message arrives in a voicemail box, a 10 day expiration timer begins where any message (Opened or not) will be held for only 10 days.  After the 10 day period, the voicemail system will automatically delete the message envelope.

For a message that has been opened/listened to and then saved, we restart the 10 day expiration timer for that one message.  Repeatedly saving the message on the same day will not extend the expiration window by 10 day increments and the message will have the last save timestamp as its starting point for the expiration timer.
