EliApps (Google Apps for Education)

A collection of Google tools, apps and collaboration services.  Undergraduates and students in Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences use EliApps (Google Apps for Education).

Google Drive and Docs are the components of an integrated service that provides a single place to store, access, create, edit, and share documents, files, and folders of all types. All EliApps users have Google Drive and Google Docs integrated into their EliApps account.

  • Google Docs refers to the web-based editors to create, edit, and share Google documents, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings, and forms. These online documents are tightly integrated with other Google Apps services and provide very powerful real-time collaboration features.
  • Google Drive is a single place to manage all your files, including Google Docs.

Who can use it?

Students at Yale College, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and select other students, faculty, and staff are eligible for EliApps.

How much does it cost?

The service is free.

How do I get it?

Yale College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences students are automatically given an EliApps account at matriculation.  All others should contact their ITS support provider.
