Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Division of Finance have partnered to address the need for secure, reliable provisioning and de-provisioning of access to online campus resources. To accomplish this goal, streamline business processes and consolidate redundant systems, the University has launched a new program, Identity and Access Management (IAM).
The IAM team will be focusing on this initiative and working with our campus partners to identify where and how data is used in the Yale environment to create business processes and technologies that will ensure the right people are able to securely access the right services at the right time.
Currently, the IAM team is working to collect and analyze the sources of data and processes across the campus. We invite you to ask questions, share concerns and provide input to the implementation of a service that will be policy- and role-based, automated, easily maintained and provide a single, secure location for this commonly accessed data.
Jon Sobel, Director, Systems and Data Integration and the IAM Director (Functional Owner) for the Division of Finance is Elizabeth Burnell are leading this effort.
