Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade - March 12
New Haven's St. Patrick's Day Parade, the sixth oldest parade in the nation, is the largest single-day spectator event in Connecticut. This Sunday, bagpipers, dignitaries, and marching bands will process through the streets of downtown. The route begins at Chapel and Sherman, heads toward the Green, travels up Church to Grove, and finishes at Orange.
A Family Fun Zone, featuring activities for children of all ages, opens at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Elm and Church streets.
WCCT (Fox News Connecticut) will telecast the event at 2:00 p.m. and rebroadcast it on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, at 12:00 p.m.
