Do one of the following:

In Outlook 2010/2013, click File tab and select Save As.
The Save As dialog box is displayed:
Select the drive and directory in which you want to store the file.
In the File name field, type a name for the file.
From the Save as type list, select Outlook Message Format (*.msg). The .msg extension is automatically be appended to the filename.
When you double-click the file it will open in a message window in Microsoft Outlook. You can then work with the message in Outlook just as you would if you had opened the message from your email inbox or other folder in your email client.
