Any time you reply to an email through EliApps or via Outlook, the person’s information will be stored either in a contact or in an autocomplete address. This can cause issues with mail delivery if the person’s email address changes.
Using EliApps Website
To remove an autocomplete email address from EliApps, you must remove the contact record.
Navigate to the Mail menu (located at the top left of the EliApps screen) and select Contacts.
In the search field (located to the right of the EliApps logo), search for the incorrect contact by typing the name or email address that you want to remove.
Open the contact, then navigate to the More menu (located at the top middle of the screen) and select Delete Contact.
Once the contact is deleted, the autocomplete in the “To:” field for that contact name/email will no longer exist.
Using Outlook 2016 - Remove One or Multiple Contacts
You can remove one or more recipients that show up as suggestions in the Auto-Complete List.
Compose a new message.
Enter one or more characters in the To, Cc, or Bcc field.
In the Auto-Complete List that appears, select the incorrect suggested recipient by using the arrow keys or by hovering your mouse over the name you want to remove.
Click on the X to the right of the contact or highlight the contact and press the Delete key to remove it.
Using Outlook 2016 - Clear the Auto-Complete List
You can clear all entries currently in the Auto-Complete List.
On the File tab, choose Options > Mail.
Under SendMessages, choose Empty Auto-Complete List.
Choose Yes to confirm you want to empty the list.
