Where is the Technology Troubleshooting Office?

The Technology Troubleshooting Office (TTO) is located in Bass Library on the Lower Level in Room L05. This is in the southeast corner of the library, approximately under Thain Family Cafe.

The Bass Library is located at 110 Wall Street under the Cross-Campus green.

The TTO is generally staffed:

Mon-Thurs 9 a.m. - Midnight
Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday Noon - 5 p.m.
Sunday Noon - Midnight

Walk-in appointments

Walk-in technology consultation is provided for all Yale undergraduates and graduate students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. No appointment is necessary.  Only students are eligible to drop off a device for service, however any member of the Yale community with an active affiliation can come in for in-person best effort support. Reading the STC Terms of Service and filing an online help request prior to your visit will assist in speeding up your case.

Scheduled appointments (Off-campus students only)

Students living off-campus or in Yale Graduate Apartments may call (203) 432-5242 to schedule an appointment for the same day or the next day. Please provide the Student Tech your netid, a brief description of the problem and the time you would like to schedule.

Phone support

Students may also call the Technology Troubleshooting Office at (203) 432-5242 to request information or get phone support. Phone support is often more limited in its capabilities to solve technology issues efficiently, so visiting the TTO in person is recommended.
