About ITS

Communications

Based on feedback, ITS must make significant strides to improve communications with faculty, staff, and students. When asked for comments, many faculty, staff, and students expressed that less is more when it comes to communications. In the future, ITS will try to provide succint and simple communications and will steer away from using push notifications in non-emergency situations. We also received negative comments about the number of emails ITS sends out. We understand from this feedback that Yale faculty, staff, and students would prefer to receive newsletters for news and emails for urgent mattters.

Respondents had a number of positive comments about Monday Morning News, ITS's Weekly tech-focused newsletter, calling it "wonderful" and "a breath of fresh air."

Respondents were asked specifically about the following. Click on highlighted text for further detail about results and plans for the future on the topic.
