What is it?
The Yale Academic Commons is an online academic community built on WordPress. Yale ITS began offering WordPress sites for courses in the summer of 2006, when a site was made by students studying Modern British Architecture in London. Over 100 courses a year now use Academic Commons, as do a number of student and research groups. It is also a platform for publishing digital scholarly projects.
Who can use it?
Academic Commons is for students, faculty, and staff looking for a user-friendly way to collaborate, communicate, and publish on the Internet.
