What is it?
YaleConnect provides a fully integrated email and calendaring solution with automatic mobile synchronization of email and calendar to handheld devices. Other features include integrated spam filtering, integration with the Microsoft Office Suite, a webmail client, email forwarding, and vacation utilities.
All outages longer than 15 minutes to the YaleConnect service are recorded on the ITS System Status system.
Who can use it?
Faculty and Staff
The following paid or unpaid staff and faculty actively working at Yale University with valid NetIDs are eligible for email accounts:
- Clerical, maintenance, management, professional, and technical staff (i.e. all C&T, M&P and S&M employees).
- The School of Management IT group provides email services to the School of Management.
- Alumni, conferees, ex-employees, spouses and children, students, teachers institute, and inactive students.
