Walk-In help and repair

Walk-in help and repair is available at the following locations:

• The Technology Troubleshooting Office (TTO) [3] -  Bass Library [4], Lower Level in Room L05. This is in the southeast corner of the library, approximately under Thain Family Cafe.  The Bass Library is located at 110 Wall Street under the Cross-Campus green.
• Faculty Arts and Sciences (FASIT) [5] – 55 Whitney Avenue, 4th floor.
• Walk-In Computer Support at Sterling Hall of Medicine [6] (WCS SHM) - Harvey Cushing/John Hay Whitney Medical Library, Room LE-20 SHM, 333 Cedar Street.
• Walk-In Computer Support at Science Park [7] (WCS SP) – 25 Science Park, Room 123, 150 Munson Street.
• Walk-In Computer Support at 135 College [8](WCS 135C) – Mezzanine of 135 College Street, Suite 101.
• Walk-In Computer Support at West Campus [9](WCS WC) – 800 West Campus Drive, Room 270.

ITS Help Desk

The ITS Help Desk is a technical support team that provides prompt, knowledgeable, courteous computing support services over the phone and via email. All staff are Certified Help Desk Professionals™.

Faculty Support

Faculty support for Faculty in the Arts and Sciences [5] is offered separately from the support offered to faculty and staff across the university.

Campus Technology Services - Desktop Support

Desktop Support provides technical support for faculty and staff computers and peripherals Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  This support is provided by Desktop Support Providers (DSPs) who install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair computers and peripherals.

Support is delivered by:

• Continuing coverage - a DSP assigned to a department on a permanent basis
• As-needed coverage - a DSP dispatched to a department as needed
• ITS Help Desk, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.– answering technology related questions and dispatching DSPs if on-site help is needed.
